I still have a few harbors which are doing their own share but cargo planes are now the de facto way to move goods around my city. Unlike cargo harbors, they don’t need access to water. Unlike cargo trains, there are no tracks to clog. They allow for a virtually unlimited amount of transport both locally and regionally. Cargo airports, (the ones without trains) have proven to be my salvation. This time I have cargo airports at my disposal. I left this save one for about a year and recently started playing on it again. ![]() I had tried to go heavy with cargo harbors but those also have limitations because you need a shoreline. At this scale, segregating rails between local and regional and further subdividing that to cargo and passenger is no longer enough. No matter what I did, cargo trains and truck traffic remained an unsolvable problem. I have a big city going with just shy of 300k. ![]() Have suggestions for the sidebar / topbar? Mail the mods!
